Output Feedback Control of Aero-Engines Based on Immersion and Invariance Method

Abstract
In the design of feedback controller in aero-engine state,state information of rotation speed,thrust and so on is required to be measurable.In practical engineering,however,state information is often unmeasurable,and the model parameters are usually uncertain.An adaptive output feedback control method for aero-engines based on immersion and invariance theory was proposed,which consists of an immersion and invariance parameter estimator,an immersion and invariance state observer and an output feedback back stepping controller.Firstly,an immersion and invariance observer was designed to observe the unknown states utilizing the estimated model parameters;then,using the model output and observed states,an immersion and invariance adaptive parameter estimator was designed to estimate the model parameters;finally,combined with the model output,state observations and parameter estimation information,an output feedback back stepping controller was designed to realize the tracking control of given input commands for the aero-engine.The stability of the closed-loop system was proven by Lyapunov theory,and the effectiveness of the proposed method was verified based on the T-MATS nonlinear simulation platform for aero-engine.The research results can provide reference for output feedback adaptive control of aero-engine.关键词
