摘要
Abstract
The main components of Lavender essential oil(Lavandula angustifolia)was analyzed by gas chromatography coupled to mass Spectrometry(GC-MS).The cytotoxity of the essential oil was tested on keratinocytes, while its effect on melatonin secretion was evaluated using a 3D epidermal skin model(EpiKutis®).The he GC-MS analysis revealed that the essential oil contains 23 compounds, with linalool and linalyl acetate being the main components.Among them, the main components were Linalyl acetate(30.4%),Linalool(20.3%),β-Myrcene(9.0%),(Z)-3,7-dimethyl-1,3,6-octatriene(4.7%),β-trans-Ocimene(4.4%),(-)-4-Terpineol;(4.3%),and Lavandulyl acetate(3.2%).In addition, the limiting characteristic component(+)-camphor accounted for a relatively small peak area of 0.4%.The results from keratinocytes indicated that the essential oil has good safety. The results from keratinocytes indicated that the essential oil has a good safety.Furthermore, the 3D epidermal skin model(FulKutis®)showed that Lavender essential oil significantly promoted the secretion of melatonin, with an increase rate of 17.13%.The results suggest that within a certain concentration range,Lavender essential oil is safe and can promote the secretion of melatonin, indicating its potential application in neurocosmetic skin care products.关键词
