Abstract
This paper explores an algorithm for river centerline extraction using the FME(Feature Manipulation Engine)platform.It first emphasizes the importance of river centerlines in the field of water conservancy pro-jects,and then details the process of using FME to automatically extract accurate centerlines from planar river data,including key steps such as data preprocessing,line-to-surface conversion,centerline extraction,and hang-ing line deletion.The experimental results verify the accuracy and efficiency of the algorithm,indicating that it is not only applicable to river data,but also can be used for centerline extraction of other GIS data such as roads.This study provides a new and efficient data processing method for river analysis and water resources management,which has practical application value and promotion prospects.关键词
