Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of cefuroxime on prevention and treatment of infection in Patients with orthopedic surgery.Methods:The data of 108 orthopedic surgery patients admitted to Shanghe Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to May 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the different use times of cefuroxime,they were divided into a study group and a control group,with 54 cases each.In the study group,adequate cefuroxime was administered reasonably within 0.5 to 1.0 h before surgery,and adequate cefuroxime was continued 12 h after surgery.In the control group,cefuroxime was given intravenously after surgery.The postoperative healing,postoperative infection and average postoperative hospital stay of the two groups were observed and compared.Results:The Grade A healing rate of the study group was 87.04%,which was higher than 57.41%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative infection rate of the study group was 1.85%was,lower than 14.81%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The length of hospitalization in the study group was shorter than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Reasonable application of cefuroxime in orthopedic surgery patients according to specific conditions can promote postoperative healing,reduce postoperative infection rate and shorten hospital stay of patients,which has certain application value.关键词
