Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of cold-dampness impediment type lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods:A total of 200 patients with cold dampness obstruction type LDH admitted to the Linyi Central Hospital from May 2020 to May 2022 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an study group,with 100 patients in each group,using a random number table method.The control group was treated with TCM,and the study group was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion.Clinical efficacy,lumbar function,pain,inflammatory response,and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results:The total clinical effective rate of the study group was 95.00%,which was higher than 81.00%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the Japanese Orthopaedic Association score and GQOLI-74 scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the Pan Visual Analogue Score,interleukin-6 and C-reactive protein levels were lower than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine has a very significant effect,which can promote the improvement of patients'lumbar function,reduce the body's inflammatory response,relieve pain,and help improve the quality of life.关键词
