Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of early rehabilitation exercise combined with pneumatic therapy on motor function in patients with traumatic brain injury.Methods:Eighty patients with traumatic brain injury who were hospitalized at Jiyang District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Jinan City from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into an intervention group and a routine group,with 40 cases in each group,using a random number table method.The routine group received early rehabilitation exercise,while the intervention group received pneumatic therapy in addition to the routine group.The neurological deficit score,swallowing function test result score,ICU stay,cognitive function,and motor function of the two groups were compared.Results:After treatment,the intervention group had lower National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale scores than the routine group,shorter ICU stay,oral transit time,pharyngeal delay time,and pharyngeal transit time than the routine group.Perception,thinking operation,visual motor organization,orientation,attention,and concentration scores and Fugl Meyer Assessment Scale scores were higher than the routine group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Early rehabilitation exercise combined with pneumatic therapy has a significant effect on patients with traumatic brain injury,which can improve their neurological deficit score,swallowing function test score,cognitive function,motor function,and shorten their hospital stay.关键词
