Abstract
Objective:To compare the efficacy of half and total hip arthroplasty in the treatment of elderly patients with femoral neck fracture.Methods:A total of 84 elderly patients with femoral neck fracture admitted to Panjiang Coal Power Group Co.,LTD.Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into a total hip joint group and half hip joint group by random number table method,with 42 cases in each group.The half hip joint group was treated with hemiarthroplasty,and the total hip joint group was treated with total hip arthroplasty.The operative indicators,pain degree,hip function and complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The total operation time,postoperative getting out of bed time and hospital stay of the total hip joint group were longer than those of the half hip joint group,and the intraoperative fluid volume,intraoperative blood loss,postoperative blood loss and 24 h postoperative drainage volume were worethan those of the half hip joint group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 24 h,48 h and 72 h after surgery,the Pain Visual Analogue Scale scores of the total hip joint group were lower than those of the half hip joint group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).3 months after surgery,the Harris Hip Scores of pain,function,joint motion and limb deformity in the total hip joint group were higher than those in the half hip joint group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the whole hip group was 11.90%,which was higher than 7.14%in the half hip group,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Total hip arthroplasty has higher requirements on the body status of elderly patients with femoral neck fracture and requires longer postoperative recovery time,but it has significant advantages in pain degree and hip function recovery,and can effectively avoid complications.关键词
