Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the long-term effects of joint replacement surgery in patients with advanced traumatic arthritis.Methods:Data of 138 patients with advanced traumatic arthritis who were followed up and treated in the Department of Orthopedics of the Eighth People's Hospital of Qingdao from January 2022 to July 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.All patients completed a 24-month follow-up before July 2024.According to the different treatment methods,they were divided into study group and control group,69 cases each.The study group received joint replacement surgery and the control group received non-surgical treatment.The degree of pain,joint function,quality of life,and complications were evaluated in both groups.Results:At 3,6,12 and 24 months after operation,the Visual Analogue Scale for Pain scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).At 3,6,12 and 24 months after surgery,Knee Society,Harris Hip Function Scale and the MOS Item Short Form Health Survey scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The incidence of complications between the two groups was 7.25%and 5.79%,respectively,with no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:Joint replacement surgery in the treatment of traumatic arthritis patients,can reduce the pain,improve the joint function,improve the quality of life,has a certain safety,and long-term stable efficacy.关键词
