Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT)combined with modified Otago exercise programme(mOEP)on walking ability and fear of falling in elderly patients after hip fracture surgery. Methods:A total of 90 elderly patients with hip fracture after operation in Lanling People's Hospital from December 2020 to December 2023 were selected as the research object, and they were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 45 cases in each group. The observation group received CBT combined with mOEP intervention, and the control group received routine rehabilitation training intervention. Both groups were treated for 6 months. The walking ability, fear of falling and risk of falling were compared between the two groups. Results:After 1,3 and 6 months of intervention, the Timed Up and Go Test time in both groups was shorter than before intervention, and the observation group was shorter than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1,3 and 6 months of intervention, the scores of modified Survey of Activity and Fear of Falling in the Elderly in both groups were lower than before intervention, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).After 1,3 and 6 months of intervention, the scores of the Modified Fall Effcacy Scale in both groups were higher than before intervention, and the scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:CBT combined with mOEP can effectively improve the walking ability of elderly patients after hip fracture surgery, alleviate the fear of falling and reduce the risk of falling.关键词
