Abstract
Objective:To explore the cosmetic effect of modified Qinlian Pingwei Powder combined with doxycycline hydro-chloride on rosacea(lung-stomach accumulating heat type).Methods:A total of 60patients with rosacea treated in the hospital were enrolled as the research objects between January 2021and September 2023.According to random number table method,they were divided into control group(30cases,oral doxycycline hydrochloride)and observation group(30cases,modified Qinlian Pingwei Powder combined with doxycycline hydrochloride).After 8weeks of treatment,clinical curative effect in the two groups was compared.The severity of facial aesthetics[clinician erythema assessment scale(CEA),vancouver scar scale(VSS),fa-cial texture]in the two groups were observed before and after treatment.The occurrence of adverse reactions was examined,and recurrence was followed up after 6months of treatment.Results:The response rate of treatment was higher in observation group than control group after treatments of 8weeks(93.33%vs 63.33%,P<0.05).After treatment,scores of rash(erythema,tel-angiectasia,papulopustule)were decreased in both groups,which were lower in observation group(P<0.05).After treatment,CEA score,VSS score and facial texture were decreased in both groups,which were lower in observation group(P<0.05).The adverse reaction rate and recurrence rate after 6months were lower in observation group than control group(P<0.05).Conclu-sion:Modified Qinlian Pingwei Powder combined with doxycycline hydrochloride can effectively improve facial aesthetics in rosa-cea patients,with significant curative effect and low recurrence rate.关键词
