Abstract
Objective:Electro-acupuncture of nerve trunk point selection combined with repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation on the recovery of lower limb function in patients with spinal cord injury.Methods:78 patients with spinal cord injury admitted to our hospital from October 2022 to February 2024 were divided into 2 groups according to the random number table(the observation group,namely the acupoint selection by the nerve trunk combined with the repeated transcranial magnetic stimu-lation;control group,traditional acupoint selection combined with repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation,39 cases in each group).Low extremity motor score(LEMS),modified ashworth scale(MAS),walking index for spinal cord injuryⅡ(WISCIⅡ),modified barthel index(MBI),was used to evaluate the functional recovery of patients,motor evoked potential(MEP)and resting motor threshold(RMT)was used to evaluate the changes of electrophysiological.Results:There was no significant difference in LEMS,MAS,WISCI Ⅱ,MBI,MEP and RMT between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The two groups of patients were comparable.In terms of MAS scores after 4 weeks of treatment,the results indicated that P<0.05 before and after treatment in the observation groups was statistically significant,while P>0.05 before and after treatment in the control group was not statistically significant,that is,the increase of muscle tone in the observation group after treatment was clinically significant,but not in the control group.The improvement of all indexes(LEMS,WISCI Ⅱ,MBI,MEP,RMT)in both groups was statistically significant compared with pre-treatment(P<0.05),the specific data for the difference between the ob-servation group and the control group after treatment is as follows:①The LEMS of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was t=3.057,P=0.04(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.②WISCI Ⅱ score was compared between the two groups,t=3.830,P=0.00(P<0.05),the difference was statistically sig-nificant;③MBI score was compared between the two groups,Z=-2.39,P=0.017(P<0.05),and the difference was sta-tistically significant.④MEP data of the two groups were compared,t=3.551,P=0.01(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.⑤RMT data of the two groups were compared,t=4.254,P=0.02(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.The results suggest that the improvement of lower limb movement,muscle strength,daily living abil-ity and electrophysiology in the treatment group is better than that in the control group.Conclusion:Electroacupuncture of nerve trunk point selection combined with repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation has a definite effect on the recovery of lower limb motor function in patients with incomplete spinal cord injury,which is of great significance for promoting the rehabilitation of pa-tients.关键词
