Research progress on the anti-tumor effect and mechanism of Bufonis Venenum
摘要
Abstract
Bufonis Venenum is the dry secretion of the Bufo bufo gargarizans Cantor or Bufo melanostictus Schneider,which belongs to the toad family.Its main components include bufadienolides,bufotenines,sterols and so on.Recent studies have shown that Bufonis Venenum has a good anti-tumor effect,mainly through inhibiting tumor cell proliferation,inducing tumor cell apoptosis,blocking tumor cell cycle,inhibiting tumor cell invasion and metastasis,inhibiting tumor angiogenesis,enhancing immunity,regulating immune microenvironment,reversing drug resistance and other mechanisms.This review sum-marizes the chemical composition,structure and preparation of Bufonis Venenum,the anti-tumor effect and mechanism of its main active ingredients,as well as clinical trial,to provide reference for the drug development and clinical application of Bu-fonis Venenum.关键词
