Evolution Characteristics of Deep Groundwater Quality in Langfang Urban Area under Mining Conditions

Abstract
Using groundwater quality data from 2019,historical water quality data,and water level data from typical monitoring points in the urban area of Langfang,this study analyzes the evolution characteristics of groundwater quality in the study area considering hydrogeological conditions and mining activities.The results show that:① The deep groundwater in the study area is alkaline,classified as fresh water,with stable spatial distribution of TDS.There may be localized nitrogen pollution in deep groundwater,but it is relatively mild.Fluoride content is generally high and unevenly distributed spatially.Oxygen consumption shows strong spatial variability,indicating potential localized organic pollution.② Since the availability of monitoring records,the deep groundwater in the study area has shifted from a bicarbonate-chloride type to a bicarbonate type;changes in water chemistry types,TDS,and fluoride mainly occur in the funnel areas of deep confined aquifers due to over-extraction.③ In typical monitoring points of deep groundwater,total hardness and TDS have generally shown a pattern of slow increase followed by stabilization over time,while fluoride levels have fluctuated upward.Groundwater extraction is closely related to the salinization,hardening,and increased fluoride content of deep groundwater.关键词
