Abstract

With the development of underwater mapping technology,underwater topographic surveying by unmanned boats equipped with bathymetric systems can improve work efficiency while ensuring the safety of operators.In practical applications,the combined use of single-beam bathymetric systems and multi-beam bathymetric systems can obtain high-precision,high-resolution,and full-coverage underwater topographic data.The results of comparing the accuracy of data collected by the two bathymetric systems for underwater surveying projects show that the gross error rate of the two systems is 0.37%,and the data accuracy meets the requirements of the surveying specifications;the main factors affecting data accuracy and the efficiency of combined use are analyzed.The data show that the combined use of single-beam and multi-beam bathymetric systems in underwater reservoir surveys can greatly improve work efficiency and obtain underwater topographic data with wider coverage and higher density.
