摘要

Abstract

The Ministry of Education issued again demand on strict implementation of the"Three Forbidden"in campus recruitment,such as forbidding to publish recruitment information containing words like graduates from Project 985 and Project 211 universities only,in order to tackle the problem of educational background discrimination in campus recruitment.This paper analyzes limitations of such prohibitions,as well as the cognitive problems existed in current Chinese society regarding educational background discrimination.It also points out that in order to effectively deal with educational background discrimination,we must tackle both the symptoms and the root causes.While implementing the prohibitions,we should establish a scientific talent evaluation system so as to abolish the management mindset of"identification"and"hierarchization"of universities.
