Abstract

A research has been carried out to investigate 22 bamboo-edible fungi compound management modes across 5 regions in Sichuan province by using interview and field investigation.With the indicator system built,the economic,ecological and social benefits of these compound management modes are compared,the broadly applicable and critical technologies for edible fungi cultivation in bamboo forests are summarized,and sensible suggestions are given to help the selection of reasonable bamboo-edible fungi compound management modes.The evaluation results indicate that the most suitable species of edible fungi for cultivation in bamboo forests in Sichuan Province are Stropharia rugosoannulata(wine-cap stropharia)and Dictyophora indusiata(bamboo fungus),and in terms of comprehensive benefits,the top 5 species among the 22 bamboo-edible fungi compound management modes are Phyllostachys violascens'Prevernalis'-Stropharia rugosoannulata,clustered bamboo-Stropharia rugosoannulata,Ph.pubescens-S.rugosoannulata,Pleioblastus amarus-D.indusiata and clustered bamboo-D.indusiate.This study provides practical references for Sichuan Province to reasonably utilize bamboo resources,develop bamboo-fungi compound management and promote the development of forest food.
