SWOT Analysis and Suggestions for Bamboo Industry Development Under the Background of"Bamboo as a Substitute for Plastic"in Longquan City,Zhejiang Province

Abstract
Bamboo industry is a traditional industry and also one of the leading specialty industries in Longquan city,Zhejiang province.With the initiative of"bamboo as a substitute for plastic",the bamboo industry is embracing unprecedented opportunities,while still facing many challenges.In order to seize the opportunity and promote the high-quality development of the bamboo industry in the city,this paper adopts the SWOT method to systematically analyze the internal strengths and weaknesses,as well as the external opportunities and threats of the bamboo industry in Longquan city.It shows that the bamboo industry in Longquan city has its advantages in geographical location,bamboo resources,industrial foundation,and technical strength,while the industry also has the disadvantages such as unreasonable forest structure,incomplete infrastructure and industrial chain,insufficient motivation for innovation,and poor awareness in brand building.The opportunities that the industry is facing include national policy support,local government support,enhanced environmental awareness,and increased consumption demand.The challenges include a shrinking domestic market,setbacks in international trade,intense competition from peers,and poor supply-demand coupling.Through matrix model analysis,countermeasures and suggestions are proposed for industrial planning,policy support,chain improvement,and brand building,aiming to provide a reference for the high-quality development of"bamboo as a substitute for plastic"in Longquan city.关键词
