Effects of different levels of Acrisporium terricola culture on growth performance,nutrient apparent digestibility,and immunity of Xuhuai white goat lambs

Abstract
The experiment aimed to investigate the effects of different levels of Acrisporium terricola culture on the growth performance,nutrient apparent digestibility,and immunity of Xuhuai white goat lambs.A total of 48 healthy Xuhuai white goat lambs with similar body weight,half male and half female,were divided into four groups with 12 replicates per group and one lamb per replicate.The control group was fed a basal diet,while the experimental groups were supplemented with 0.25%,0.50%,and 1.00%Acrisporium terricola culture of the basal diet.The test period was one week,and the formal test period was 60 days.The results showed that compared with the control group,the final weight and average daily weight gain of lambs in the 0.50%group were significantly increased(P＜0.05),and the feed to weight ratio was significantly decreased(P＜0.05),the diarrhea rate of lambs in the experimental groups was significantly lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The 0.50%group significantly increased the apparent digestibility of neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber(P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,the 0.50%and 1.00%groups significantly increased the immunoglobulin G(IgG)levels in the lambs'serum(P＜0.05),the 0.50%group significantly increased the levels of interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-10(IL-10),and transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)in the serum(P＜0.05),and significantly decreased the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)(P＜0.05).The study indicates that feeding a suitable level of Acrisporium terricola culture can improve the growth performance and nutrient apparent digestibility,and enhance the immune function of Xuhuai white goat lambs.The optimal supplemental level of Acrisporium terricola culture is 0.50%.关键词
