Abstract
Objective:To study the application value of palpation and ultrasound in the diagnosis of thyroid nodules.Methods:From June 2022 to June 2024,89 patients with thyroid nodules who were found by physical examination in Taihu Sanatorium in Jiangsu Province and hospitalized in Wuxi Second People's Hospital were selected.Taking the surgical and pathological diagnosis results as the gold standard,all patients were examined by palpation and ultra-sound,and the diagnostic value was analyzed.Results:The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of ultrasonic diagno-sis of thyroid nodules were 98.07%(76/77)、91.67%(11/12)and 98.88%(88/89),which were higher than those of palpation 77.01%(67/77)、16.67%(2/12)and 76.40%(68/89),P<0.05.Conclusion:The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of ultrasound in identifying and differentiating thyroid nodules are higher than those of palpation,which can observe the nodules in real time and evaluate their benign and malignant,thus providing reference for fol-low-up treatment.关键词
