The Effect of Family Physician Service on Self-management Ability And Quality of Life in Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of family doctor service on self-management ability and quality of life of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods:240 COPD patients managed by Runda Community Health Service Center in Wumenqiao Street from January 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divid-ed into control group and study group,with 120 patients in each group.The control group received routine outpa-tient follow-up,and the research group received personalized family doctor service for 12 months.Self-manage-ment ability(including disease cognition、symptom management and daily life management)and quality of life of patients in the two groups were evaluated.Results:After the intervention,the scores of disease cognition、symptom management and daily life management in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the total score of SGRQ and the scores of symptoms、activities and influences were significantly lower than those in the control group,P<0.05.Conclusion:Family doctor service can effectively improve the self-management ability of COPD patients,significantly improve their quality of life,and provide an effective model for long-term management of COPD.关键词
