Driving Mechanism and Deepening Path of Agricultural Digitization on the Scale Operation of Agricultural Land
摘要
Abstract
The small scale of agricultural land operation has long constrained China's agricultural development.While existing research primarily examines the phenomenon and trends of agricultural digitalization and land scale operation,it falls short of exploring the underlying mechanisms linking these two factors.To address this gap,this study utilizes provincial panel data from 2012 to 2021 and applies fixed effect,mediation,and moderation models to investigate the promoting effect and driving mechanisms of agricultural digitalization on the scale operation of agricultural land.The findings reveal that agricultural digitalization positively influences the expansion of land scale operation and drives this process by facilitating agricultural labor transfer,improving labor productivity,and promoting rural land operation rights transfer.Additionally,the effect of agricultural digitalization on land scale operation is more pronounced in the eastern region compared to the central and western regions.Based on these findings,the study proposes several policy recommendations,including guiding labor transfer effectively,enhancing farmers'agricultural knowledge,and increasing farmers'participation in land operation rights transfer.关键词
