Abstract

In order to enhance the effectiveness of BIM technology in railway bridge engineering,this study conducted an in-depth analysis of the principles and methods of parametric bridge modeling technology.The core constraints of bridge parametric modeling,such as feature parameters and classification of relationships,were examined.A parametric"template-driven"bridge BIM modeling method was proposed,along with application verification based on domestic digital component design software.Given the regularity of railway bridge structures,a geometric modeling method of bridge components based on EBS decomposition was introduced.It established progressive constraint relationships between bridge components and performed"template-driven"parametric design,enabling the modeling and 3D visualization with linked updates.The study also explored the modeling and splicing techniques for complex bridge components,verifying the feasibility and efficiency of the technology.Based on the parametric"template-driven"BIM modeling method,a bridge BIM model library was established to improve the reusability and flexibility of components.This study shows that the"template-driven"parametric bridge component offers advantages such as complete parameter expression,clear constraint relationships,strong component versatility,fast modeling speed,and excellent visualization effects,providing an important reference for the application of BIM technology in railway bridge engineering.
