Fiscal Decentralization,Equalization of Public Services and Common Prosperity
摘要
Abstract
Based on the data of 348 cities at the prefecture level and above in China from 2011 to 2021,this paper uses dy-namic panel model and panel threshold model to empirically explore the impact of fiscal decentralization on common prosperity and the mechanism of equalization of public services.The results go as below:Both fiscal decentralization and equalization of pub-lic services have a positive impact on common prosperity,and equalization of public services is the moderating variable of fiscal decentralization affecting common prosperity.The impact of fiscal decentralization on common prosperity has a threshold effect based on the equalization of public services,and the effect of fiscal decentralization on common prosperity has significant regional heterogeneity.When the equalization level of public service exceeds the second threshold value,it can play a significant positive effect in the eastern and central regions,and show a certain negative effect in the western regions.关键词
