Abstract
Objective To analyze the prevalence of dental caries and its influencing factors in preschool children Methods In May 2023,the oral health data of children in Community Health Service Center of Liulihe Town in Fangshan District of Beijing City who participated in children's fluoride application activity were selected and electronic archives were established.A total of 355 parents of public and private kindergartens in Nanzhao and Yaoshang in November 2023 were selected for an online questionnaire survey,which included basic information of parents,children's oral health and eating habits.The risk factors of dental caries were analyzed by univariate and multifactorial analysis.Results A total of 355 valid questionnaires were collected.The caries prevalence rate in children was 67.32%(239/355),and the decayed,missing,or filled teeth count was 3.63.Univariate analysis showed that children's dental caries were related to the age at which children started brushing teeth,the frequency of eating dessert or drinking carbonated beverages,whether eating before bed after brushing teeth,and the age of parents(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that the frequency of eating dessert or drinking carbonated beverages,whether eating before bed after brushing teeth,and the age of parents were the influencing factors of caries in children(P<0.05).Conclusion The deciduous teeth caries of children in the kindergartens of Liulihe Town are serious,which is related to poor diet and hygiene habits and insufficient attention of parents.Parents and society should pay more attention to children's diet management and oral health habit cultivation.关键词
