摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the application value of heparin-binding protein(HBP)in children with severe pneumonia. Methods A total of 515 children with severe pneumonia admitted to Changzhou Children's Hospital Affiliated to Nantong University from January 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the study objects.Among them,300 cases had definitive etiological diagnosis and were divided into the bacterial infection group(180 cases)and the viral infection group(120 cases).Based on the severity of the disease, they were divided into the critical group(128 cases)and the non critical group(387 cases).Based on the prognosis of the critical group, they were divided into the poor prognosis group(18 cases)and the good prognosis group(110 cases). The levels of HBP,procalcitonin(PCT),and C-reactive protein(CRP)were tested and the diagnostic efficacy of each indicator for children with severe pneumonia was analyzed using the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve. Results The levels of HBP,PCT,and CRP in the bacterial infection group, the critical group, and the poor prognosis group were higher than those in the viral infection group, the non critical group, and the good prognosis group(P<0.05).The area under the ROC curve of HBP for diagnosis of severity of children with severe pneumonia was 0.911,with a sensitivity of 83.45%,and a specificity of 93.55%,and the diagnostic efficacy was high(P<0.05).Conclusion HBP has a high diagnostic efficacy in children with severe pneumonia and is of great significance in improving the prognosis.关键词
