The Compilation and Application of Carbon Emission Estimation Index for Residential Buildings in China

Abstract
In the preliminary stage of the residential buildings,carbon emission estimation cannot be carried out due to the limited available data.To solve this problem,this paper,based on the LCA theory and with reference to the compilation of investment estimation indexes,firstly,calculates the carbon emission of the whole lifespan of the residential buildings with process analysis method,and then constructs the carbon emissions database.Secondly,after comparative analysis of 12 machine learning models,random forest regression is utilized to identify the main building parameters affecting carbon emissions.For the main parameters,the study compiles the carbon emission estimation index for single residential building.Finally,the database matching and index estimation methods are used to estimate the carbon emissions of the case project,and the design scheme of the case project is opti-mized.This paper establishes a correlation relationship between whole-life carbon emission and engi-neer cost estimation,bridging the research boundary between the two.The carbon emission estimation index proposed in this paper provides a new idea for the estimation of building carbon emission,which can realize the carbon emission estimation completed by using a small number of parameters in the preliminary stage,and has theoretical and practical significance.关键词
