Study on the Formation Mechanism of Work-Family Conflict of Project Consultants

Abstract
Project consultants experience work-family conflict due to overlapping job and personal de-mands.A theoretical model was developed to delineate the formation process of this conflict,consider-ing their specific job traits.An analysis of 390 surveys using structural equation modeling showed that heightened job pressures and reduced flexibility amplify work-family conflict,whereas enhanced work-related support acts as an indirect mitigant.Similarly,excessive family involvement exacerbate family-work conflict,but improved familial support serves to alleviate it.Additionally,work-family conflict exerts a positive influence on family-work conflict.This conclusion offers theoretical justification for consulting firms to implement measures aimed at reducing consultants'work-family conflict.关键词
