Range Compensation Optimization Method for Radar Non-uniform Scanning Imaging

Abstract
The optimization of millimeter wave radar for non-uniform scanning imaging applications is explored,particularly through the introduction of distance compensation to traditional imaging algorithms.This approach aims to address challenges in curvature imaging scenarios such as freehand scanning and drone detection imaging.The analysis begins with an examination of data distribution characteristics under non-uniform scanning.Mathematical models are used to calculate the distance between the transceiver array and its corresponding virtual array to a reference point,enabling effective correction of non-uniform scanning data.To validate the proposed method,simulations and experiments are conducted using the Fast Back-Projection Algorithm(FBPA)and the Non-Uniform Fast Fourier Transform-based Range Migration Algorithm(NUFFT-RMA).The research results show that the proposed range compensation method reduces imaging artifacts and enhances accuracy.This method offers an effective optimization for non-uniform scanning imaging with millimeter-wave radar.关键词
