Abstract
In order to enhance the electromagnetic thrust of liquid metal electromagnetic pump,a electromagnetic pump with new topology structure is designed on the computer and the finite element model of linear induction electromagnetic pump is established.Under the transient field,the electromagnetic thrust and normal force of linear induction electromagnetic pump are coupled and analyzed,and the secondary eddy current distribution and magnetic field distribution with different turn current ratio and different air gap size are compared.The optimization process is conducted by means of Taguchi method and EA(evolutionary algorithm)optimization algorithm.In order to improve the proportion of electromagnetic thrust in the compound force,a set of suitable parameter size ratio of linear induction electromagnetic pump is proposed.Although both algorithms could improve the proportion of electromagnetic thrust,the testing results show that EA is superior to Taguchi method,and the optimized thrust is about twice of the original.At the same time,the normal force decreases obviously,and the optimization effect is ideal relatively.Starting from the theory of electromagnetic fields,an equivalent circuit diagram consistent with LIEP is obtained.By considering edge effects in the equivalent circuit,the thrust can be calculated directly.The thrust and normal force are obtained by combining a one-dimensional electromagnetic field model with a two-dimensional single-layer secondary electromagnetic field model,which reduces the complexity of calculations.关键词
