摘要

Abstract

As a component of the important ecological security barrier in northern of China,the grassland not only offers abundant forage resources for animal husbandry,but also provides meat and milk needed by humans,and offers various ecosystem services.Inner Mongolia accounts for one fifth of the country's total grassland area,which is the basis and guarantee for building a national important agricultural and livestock production base.With the rapid development of grassland animal husbandry,the contradiction between grass and livestock has gradually emerged,with severe problems such as instability and imbalance in the grassland forage production system,serious energy consumption in winter grazing,and the breakage of the grassland ecological material circulation chain,it is urgent to take measures to transform the mode of production through rationnal utilization of grassland,breeding of high-quality varieties,and comprehensive promotion of the"grazing in warm seasons and feeding in cold seasons"model,to alleviate the imbalance between grass and livestock and promote the high-quality development of grassland animal husbandry.
