Abstract
Objective Based on the theory of phlegm-based treatment,a meta-analysis was conducted on the clinical ran-domized controlled trials of using Er Chen Tang as the basic formula for treating cough variant asthma(CVA),to provide evidence-based medical evidence of its treatment principle and therapeutic efficacy.Methods We comprehensively searched for domestic and overseas published clinical trials on the treatment of CVA with Er Chen Tang as the basic formula,conducted literature screening and data extraction,and applied the Cochrane systematic evaluation method to conduct meta-analysis on the total clinical efficacy,recurrence rate during the follow-up period of the affected children,and so on.Results The treatment of CVA in children with Er Chen Tang plus and minus formula was better than the treatment with western medicine alone in terms of total clinical efficacy,at the same time,the relapse rate was lower after using Er Chen Tang plus and minus treatment alone or in combination with western medicine.Conclusion The phlegm-based treatment of CVA in children has certain accuracy and rationality in clinical treatment.关键词
