Abstract
Objective To explore the fecal parasitic examination results and parasitic infection status of patients in Shunde District of Foshan.Methods 1 000 patients admitted to our hospital from August 2022 to September 2022 were selected.Fresh feces were taken to detect by sedimentation egg collection method.The fecal parasitic examination results and parasitic infection of patients were analyzed.Results Among 1 000 patients,108 eggs were found,including 1 hookworm egg and 107 liver fluke eggs,with an infection rate of 10.70％.The infection rate of male was higher than that of female(P＜0.05).Statistical difference was found in the infection rate among people with different medical category,age,number of visits and examinations,eating habits and occupation(P＜0.05).The inpatients,people aged 36～40,with 3 times of visits and examinations,frequently consume sashimi,and farmers had the highest infection rate in this category.Conclusions Patients have higher parasitic infection rate with many types of infections.It is necessary to strengthen food safety management and health education based on specific types of infections,improve the self-protection and health awareness of Chinese residents,and reduce the infection rate.关键词
