Abstract
To accurately predict the temper embrittlement of 2.25Cr-1Mo steel after long-term service for the safety assessment of hydroprocessing reactors.This paper analyzes the applicability of the method for predicting FATT by J-factor for 2.25Cr-1Mo steel in-service hydroprocessing reactor in API579-1/ASME FFS-1 2016.The paper concludes that this method can be used to evaluate the FATT of 2.25Cr-1Mo steel after service.However,after the embrittlement time reaches 200 000 h,it should be noted that the prediction results are non-conservative for the low J-factor of 2.25Cr-1Mo steel.The paper suggests to supplement the long-term service data of low J-factor to further improve the relationship curve and the reliability of predictions.关键词
