摘要

Abstract

Using the Bibliometrix metrology toolkit,a literature analysis of carbon emissions from hydropower generation between 1994 and 2024 revealed that research in this field has gone through a process from initial attention to rapid growth.China and the United States have played leading roles in this field.China leads in the number of publications,while the United States occupies a core position in international cooperation.And Canada has demonstrated the highest rate of multi country collaborative publishing,with'SCIENCE Of THE TOTAL ENVIRONMENT'being an important journal in this field.Methane,flux,and impact have always been the focus of attention in this field.The prediction of carbon emissions from hydropower generation,the impact of algae on methane,and the research on carbon emissions from emerging energy storage power plants are becoming key directions for future research.
