Abstract
Objective:The characteristic and microscopic identification of Spatholobi Caulis and its common counterfeits Sargentodoxa cuneata,Whitfordiodendron filipes var was investigated,and to provide experimental basis for the identification true and false of Spatholobi Caulis.Methods:The traits,microscopic,and polarized light microscopic iden-tification methods were used,and the appearance characteristics,cross-sectional area,and powder microscopic character-istics of three slices were identified.Results:In traits identification,Spatholobi Caulis has eccentric concentric rings,Sargentodoxa cuneata has a radial texture,and Whitfordiodendron filipes var has red spots.In microscopic and polarized light microscopic identification,three slices has large differences in shape and diameter of their cells observed,such as Spatholobus suberectus has heterotypic vascular bundle,Sargentodoxa cuneata has external tough vascular bundle and fibres,but no crystal sheath fibres,Whitfordiodendron filipes var has large type of secretory cells.Conclusion:Spatholobi Caulis and its common counterfeits Sargentodoxa cuneata,Whitfordiodendron filipes var has large differences in traits and microscopic characteristics,which can serve as a basis for authenticity identification of Spatholobi Caulis.关键词
