Abstract
Hoof disease can not only affect the normal physiological activities of cows,but also reduce milk production and fecundity of cows.Bath hoof is an important sanitary measure to prevent hoof disease,and its effectiveness is directly related to the overall economic value created by cows for the pasture during the whole lactation period.In this experiment,hoof bath solution containing 5% benzalkonium bromide was used to treat hoof disease in cows.The applicability and effectiveness of 5% benzalonium bromide solution in the treatment of hoof inflammation in dairy cows were verified by scoring the skin appearance,gait and skin pain(cure rate of hoof disease)and the number of bacteria after hoof bath.The results showed that 5% benzalkonium bromide solution was applied externally,the diseased skin of cows was in the healing stage,the pain was weak,and the bacteria content was decreased.The solution had no irritation to the skin and tissues,strong penetration,easy operation,and had a good reference value for the prevention and treatment of cow hoof leaf inflammation.关键词
