摘要

Abstract

In order to enhance the detection of camel brucellosis,five methods,namely Indirect Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay(iELISA),Competitive Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay(cELISA),Rose Bengal Test(RBT),Gold Immunochromatographic Assay(GICA),and Serum Agglutination Test(SAT),were applied to detect camel serum samples,aiming to select appropriate testing methods for practical production.The results indicate that the Kappa values between GICA and cELISA,as well as iELISA and cELISA,are both greater than 0.7,showing good consistency.Compared with SAT,RBT has the highest sensitivity,specificity,and agreement rate,and the lowest false positive and negative rates.Therefore,it is recommended that in large-scale camel brucellosis testing,RBT could be initially used for screening followed by SAT or cELISA for retesting.To reduce the misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis rates of camel brucellosis,it is suggested to combine multiple serological methods for testing to improve diagnostic accuracy.
