Abstract
With the increasing number of people going abroad for study,traveling and business,carrying companion animals out of the territory becomes more frequent.Entry companion animals shall be strictly quarantined as required by all countries(regions),while companion animals to be carried out of the territory of China shall be quarantined and supervised,and then released with issuance of a health certificate in accordance with laws and regulations as well as the requirements of destination countries(regions).However,there are problems including inconsistent practices in the quarantine supervision for companion animals to be carried out of the territory.Here,the basis and process of quarantine supervision implemented by Customs for companion animals to be carried out of the territory were introduced,the above problems were analyzed,followed by corresponding recommendations,expecting to promote the implementation of quarantine supervision measures,and thus to provide more convenient and efficient service for travelers who were carrying companion animals.关键词
