The Trap of Pan-entertainmentalism in the Digital Age and its Transcendence
摘要
Abstract
Pan-entertainmentalism is an erroneous social trend of thought that relies on modern media technology,controlled by capital logic,pursuing sensory pleasure as the highest value standard,and is extremely infectious,diffuse,hidden and harmful.It is precisely because of its concealment that people often fall into its traps and suffer from it greatly.After the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of China's economy and technological progress,especially since entering the digital age,the pan-entertainmentalism whose survival and development relies on mass media,has been supported by technology and capital unprecedentedly,and has invaded all fields of social life,which seems to be growing increasingly fierce.A comprehensive review of the historical background of the rise of pan-entertainmentalism in China,understanding its current manifestations and harms in the fields of news media,popular culture,and ideology,will help us grasp the underlying logic that supports the rampant practice of pan-entertainmentalism at a deeper level,so as to effectively identify and discern the essence of the trap of consumerism,hedonism and nihilism of pan-entertainmentalism.Thus,feasible solutions can be taken from various aspects such as regulating capital,strengthening supervision,and leading value orientation,to achieve the transcendence of the trap of pan-entertainmentalism and also to complete the governance of pan-entertainmentalism itself.关键词
