Parent Anxiety Sensitivity and Anxiety in Junior High School Students:The Mediating Role of Parental Control and Child Anxiety Sensitivity

Abstract
Objective:To explore the direct effect of parent anxiety sensitivity and anxiety in junior high school stu-dents,and the indirect effects of parental control and child anxiety sensitivity between them.Methods:Totally 390 junior high school students completed parental control scale,childhood anxiety sensitivity index and Spence children's anxiety scale,and their parents completed anxiety sensitivity index.Results:(1)Correlation analysis showed that parent anxiety sensitivity,parental control,child anxiety sensitivity and anxiety were significantly and positively correlated with each other.(2)The direct effect of parent anxiety sensitivity on child anxiety was significant,and parental control and child anxi-ety sensitivity played both mediating and chain mediating effects between parent anxiety sensitivity and child anxiety.Con-clusion:Parent anxiety sensitivity was associated directly and indirectly with child anxiety through parental control and child anxiety sensitivity.关键词
