Relationship between Perceived Intrusiveness and Psychological Reactance in Prison Inmates:A Chain Mediating Effect of Controlled Motivation and Anger

Abstract
Objective:To explore the relationship between perceived intrusiveness and psychological reactance in prison inmates,and examine the mediating roles of controlled motivation and anger in the relationship.Methods:A survey was conducted among 484 prison inmates.The questionnaire included measures for perceived intrusiveness,psychological reactance,controlled motivation and anger.Results:Correlation analysis showed that perceived intrusiveness,controlled motivation,anger and psychological reactance were significantly and positively correlated with each other.The mediating ef-fect analysis revealed that controlled motivation and anger not only played a part of mediating role but also played a chain mediating role in the relationship between perceived intrusiveness and psychological reactance.Conclusion:Perceived in-trusiveness is one of the critical causes of psychological resistance in prison inmates,and it works through controlled motiva-tion,anger and the chain mediating effect of controlled motivation and anger.关键词
