Study on the Effect of Balint Group on Enhancing Care Ability,Emotional Intelligence and Inpatient Experience

Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of Balint group training on enhancing the humane care ability and emotional intelligence of plastic and cosmetic surgery doctors and nurses as well as the inpatient experience of patients.Methods Fifty plastic and cosmetic surgery doctors and nurses were recruited for Balint group training to evaluate the doctors and nurses before and after training using the caring ability scale and emotional intelligence scale.Meanwhile,100 inpatients voluntarily filled in the HCAHPS experience scale to compare the effect of Balint group training on improving patients'experiences of hospitalization.Results The training resulted in increased care ability scale and emotional intelligence scale scores,and patients'HCAHPS experience scale scores,with statistically significant differences.Conclusion The ability of Balint group to effectively enhance the caring ability,emotional intelligence of plastic and cosmetic surgery doctors and nurses,and the inpatient experience of patients,which is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
