Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of corrected and feedback health education on promoting postoperative recovery of unilateral upper eyelid entropion and trichiasis in the elderly.Methods Sixty elderly patients with unilateral upper eyelid entropion trichiasis treated in the author's hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected and divided into an observation group and a control group according to the random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was intervened with routine nursing,while the observation group was intervened with error correction combined with feedback health education.The recovery of eyes,mastery of health education knowledge and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.The self-care ability and quality of life were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention.Results After intervention,the excellent and good recovery rates of the eyes in the two groups were 90.00%and 83.33%,respectively,but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).After the intervention,the scores of health education knowledge,self-care ability and quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the scores of nursing satisfaction in all dimensions were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Corrected and feedback health education can promote postoperative recovery in elderly patients with unilateral upper eyelid entropion and trichiasis,which is beneficial to improve health cognition,thus improve self-care ability and quality of life,with high nursing satisfaction.关键词
