Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of compound acid combined with Xiaocuo Decoction in the treatment of mild to moderate acne and to provide scientific evidence for its clinical application.Methods A total of 60 patients with mild to moderate acne who visited the Department of Dermatology at our hospital between July 2021 and July 2023 were included in the study.These patients were treated with compound acid in combination with Xiaocuo Decoction for a duration of 8 weeks.The overall response rate was recorded,and the GAGS score and Acne-QoL score were compared before and after treatment.The incidence of adverse reactions during treatment was also documented.Results The overall response rate was 75%.The GAGS score after treatment(6.57±1.69)was significantly lower than before treatment(18.67±5.28).The Acne-QoL score after treatment(25.13±1.82)was significantly higher than before treatment(12.97±3.40),with both differences being statistically significant(P＜0.05).During the treatment,one patient experienced nausea,and another experienced itching,with an adverse reaction rate of 3.33%.Conclusion Compound acid combined with Xiaocuo Decoction effectively treats mild to moderate acne and demonstrates good safety.This therapeutic approach is worthy of wider clinical application.关键词
