摘要

Abstract

To overcome the poor water solubility,low bioavailability,and inability to be administered with drinking water of florfenicol,this study used florfenicol as the active ingredient and β-cyclodextrin as an excipient.The encapsulation technique using cyclodextrin and spray drying method was employed to develop florfenicol encapsulated microcapsules.The prepared products were subjected to solubility comparison tests,dissolution tests,stability tests,and pharmacokinetic studies.The results showed that florfenicol-β-cyclodextrin encapsulated microcapsules were successfully prepared with a yield of 99.6%,and the dissolution rate reached 93%within 15 minutes.The product exhibited stable quality,and after oral administration,the peak blood concentration was achieved at 1.44 hours,with a peak concentration of 15.32 μg/mL.The findings suggest that the florfenicol product prepared by this method has good water solubility,fast absorption,high blood concentration,and a feasible production process,which has already been industrialized.This method significantly improves the competitiveness of the product in the market.
