摘要

Abstract

In recent years,significant progress has been made in the application of antibiotic nano-formulations in livestock farming.Traditional oral administration of veterinary medicines offers advantages such as cost-effectiveness and convenience,making it suitable for large-scale farming.However,it also faces challenges such as low solubility,poor permeability,short residence time in the small intestine,and multiple absorption barriers.Nano-delivery systems enhance the solubility and permeability of drugs,enable nano-controlled release,increase transmembrane transport,and overcome oral absorption barriers,significantly improving the effectiveness of oral administration.Current primary nano-delivery systems include nanocrystals,nanoemulsions,liposomes,cyclodextrin complexes,and antimicrobial nanomaterials.The use of these systems not only improves the bioavailability of drugs but also plays an active role in reducing drug residues and environmental pollution.This review discusses the advantages of nano-delivery systems,the main types and characteristics of veterinary antibiotic nano-delivery systems,and provides insights for the development of veterinary antibiotic nano-formulations.
