Investigation of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine Teaching in Veterinary Medicine

Abstract
Traditional Chinese veterinary medicine is an essential course in veterinary medicine major in China,aimed at training practical professionals who can apply traditional Chinese veterinary medicine methods for animal clinical diagnosis and treatment.To promote the education of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine,this study used an online survey to investigate traditional Chinese veterinary medicine teachers,veterinary medicine major students,and clinical veterinarians nationwide,focusing on three aspects:course teaching,learning experience,and practical application.The survey aimed to understand the demand for traditional Chinese veterinary medicine teaching in veterinary clinical practice,assess the current state of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine education,and analyze factors influencing teaching effectiveness,offering insights for the development of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine teaching.The results indicated that the scope and content of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine teaching are already quite broad,and students are highly motivated to learn.However,case-based teaching and foundational theory need to be further strengthened,and clinical surveys highlighted the importance of basic education.关键词
