Abstract
Objective To compare the efficacy of carbon dioxide(CO2)fractional laser combined with chemical peeling and fractional laser alone in the treatment of facial atrophic scars.Methods A total of 120 patients with facial atrophic scars admitted to the Department of Dermatology,the Third People's Hospital of Zhengzhou from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected.They were divided into an observation group(treated with CO2 fractional laser combined with chemical peeling)and a control group(treated with CO2 fractional laser)according to different treatment methods,with 60 patients in each group.The ECCA scoring system was used to evaluate the changes of scars before treatment and 3 months after treatment.The adverse reactions in both groups and the overall patient satisfaction score 3 months after treatment were recorded.Results There was no significant difference in ECCA scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The ECCA score of the observation group after treatment was(43.7±4.9),and that of the control group was(52.8±6.7).The differences before and after treatment in both groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the difference in ECCA scores between the two groups after treatment was also statistically significant(P<0.05).The patient satisfaction rate in the observation group was 88%,and that in the control group was 71%,with a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).In the observation group,2 cases of stinging pain,1 case of edema,and 1 case of pigmentation occurred.In the control group,1 case of stinging pain,1 case of edema,and 1 case of pigmentation occurred.There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions CO2 fractional laser combined with chemical peeling is significantly superior to fractional laser alone in improving the appearance of facial atrophic scars,with a low incidence of adverse reactions.关键词
