加巴喷丁治疗3～4期慢性肾脏病患者皮肤瘙痒的临床观察
Investigation of the Efficacy of Gabapentin in Treating Pruritus in Patients with Stage 3-4 Chronic Kidney Disease

Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of gabapentin in treating pruritus in patients with stage 3-4 chron-ic kidney disease(CKD).Methods A total of 108 patients with pruritus treated at the Department of Nephrology,Suzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from January 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divided into an experimental group(n=54)and a control group(n=54)using a random number table.Patients in the control group were treated with loratadine,while the experimental group received gabapentin.The following indicators were used to compare the efficacy between the two groups:Visual Analog Scale(VAS)scores,modified Duo's pruritus scores,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores,and the incidence of adverse reactions.Results The overall efficacy rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,both groups had significantly lower VAS scores,modi-fied Duo's pruritus scores,and PSQI scores compared to their pre-treatment values(all P<0.05).Moreover,the experimental group showed significantly lower VAS scores,modified Duo's pruritus scores,and PSQI scores than the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion Gabapentin is effective in treating uremic pruritus in stage 3-4 CKD patients,effectively alleviating pruritic symptoms and improving sleep quality,demonstrating clinical value for application.关键词
