Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effects of Bushen Huatan Tiaozhou Formula combined with letrozole and metformin in the treatment of infertility in obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Method:A total of 100 obese PCOS infertility patients admitted to the outpatient department of Yancheng Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects.Random number table method was used to divide the into control group and experimental group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with letrozole and metformin hydrochloride,and the experimental group was treated with Bushen Huatan Tiaozhou recipe on this basis.Body mass index(BMI),sex hormones[luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle-stimulating(FSH),testosterone(T)],glucose metabolism[fasting blood glucose(FPG),fasting insulin(FINS),insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)],ovulation rate and pregnancy rate were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Result:After treatment,BMI was significantly increased,LH,FSH and testosterone were significantly improved,FPG,FINS and HOMA-IR decreased,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Ovulation rate and pregnancy rate of experimental group were significantly higher than those of control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Bushen Huatan Tiaozhou recipe combined with letrozole and metformin can effectively reduce BMI of patients,improve sex hormone levels and glucose metabolism,and significantly increase ovulation rate and pregnancy rate.关键词
